I made a small collection of these nuno felted reversible long/short vests for my fall art shows, and they sold out!
Now that my studio is officially moved, back in working order, and I can create again, I've been doing just that...creating. I just completed these two pieces and they are now available in my studio or online via my etsy shop. They are one-size/non-sized versatile pieces that can be worn during any season, and are perfect as a layer for the cooler temperatures that have recently arrived.
I am loving the colors and funky flow of this design so much that I’m thinking I need to make one for myself, after the holidays. These two, however, are now ready to find their new owners.
Both of these shows were new for me, so there is always the anxiety of anticipation; how easy will the load-in/load-out be, will the weather cooperate, will I sell anything? It was a great sigh of relief as everything fell into place and I spent the weekends with happy customers, friendly crafters, and wonderful show organizers. And I had lots of fun too!
In between these two shows, a studio move. With two huge windows, I get lots of natural light, I have plenty of space for my shop in the front, and even more space in the back to design in...and have workshops.
Workshops?!? Yes, two more are coming this November. One will be my Traditional Wet Felted Flower Workshop, the other a Nuno Felted Scarf Workshop. Check my workshops page for details and registration information.
