I wanted to develop a design that would incorporate my love of Nuno felting and would be perfect for the southern summers here in Alabama. Those hot and humid summers where it's just so hot outside... and... then... you encounter that freezing air conditioning that is simply unavoidable if you spend any time inside. So I recently started making super lightweight and airy summer scarves from my hand dyed silks and pieces of recycled fabrics. They can be loosely thrown on and tied like a textile necklace or wrapped around your neck to give you a little warmth in the AC. The super soft silk habotai feels so luxurious and they go with literally anything, dressy to causal. I wear them with jeans, a t-shirt, and sneakers regularly. Right now I've got lots of colors available in my studio showroom and my online shop so grab one, or two, or three, and jazz up your summer wardrobe.
(If you are shopping online and don't see the color you want, message me, not everything available is posted online. - Thanks!)
